About the Recipe
In the mood for a London Fog, but need a quicker route to get there while home? This recipe mix will give you that flavor blast you are craving, but allow a few servings to be made at a time.
Ingredients
2 C hot water (85-95º C)
4 bags of Earl Grey Tea (I used Stash Double Bergamot Earl Grey)
2 tbsp coconut sugar (or white)
1 whole vanilla bean pod
2 1/2 C whole milk
*can use 2 tbsp of vanilla syrup in place of sugar and vanilla bean pod
Preparation
Step 1
Bring water to a boil and pour out 2 cups into a hot water safe carafe or bowl. Stir in sugar until dissolved and add in whole vanilla bean pod (or stir in vanilla syrup if using instead). Place 4 tea bags into bowl and let everything steep together for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Remove vanilla bean pod, squeeze out excess tea from tea bags and discard. Stir in whole milk. Pour 8 ounces of mixture into heat-safe carafe and steam until hot and frothy. Enjoy. Store the rest, covered in fridge up to 10 days.
